Mangiare a Londra

  • Fish and Chips

  • Pie and mash

In vero old style.

  • Bangers and mash

A few from my trip to London for the @ebayforbusiness awards where I presented an award alongside Jenny Campbell from Dragons Den 🤯 Surreal but oh so fun! It was a really moving evening with stories of people doing amazing things. The grand prize winner used his @ebay_uk business to support his family where he cared for his father with dementia, his mother who had just battled cancer, his brother who has schizophrenia and his young son. Such an amazing man. And yes there were tears! I presented an award to the gorgeous Victoria from @pegsandpearls whose wedding stationery business was born out of post natal depression. I’m so thrilled for Victoria to see her business doing so well ❤️ @lilhannaho & I took advantage of some time in London and just had to pay a visit to the Ivy the next day - just look at that autumnal doorway! 🍂 🍁 I think we need one like this at the shop!

  • Sunday Roast

🥔 Baked potatoes are a Bonfire Night 🔥 staple, traditionally cooked in the glowing embers. Whether you're cooking yours in the fire or an oven, a rub of our cold pressed rapeseed oil and a pinch of sea salt will give you tasty crispy skin. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Pizza baked potatoes are a sure-fire hit with children. Cut baked potatoes in half and spread with a tablespoon of pesto before topping with quartered cherry tomatoes, grated cheese and a drizzle of our cold pressed rapeseed oil. Return to the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Kids also love stuffed jacket potatoes. If you let baked potatoes cool before scooping out the middle, they can have fun making them too. In a bowl, mash the insides with cheese, sweetcorn and fresh herbs before returning to the skins and cooking in the oven for 10–15 minutes. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ For more tips and recipes, read 'How to Bake and Top the Perfect Jacket Potato' in our blog on our website (link in bio). ⠀ ⁣⠀ #bakedpotato #bonfire #bonfirenight #guyfawkesnight #guyfawkes #guyfawkesday #november #autumn #autumnrecipes #bonfirefood #comfortfood #bakedpotatoes #jacketpotato #jacketpotatoes #hillfarmoils #coldpressedrapeseedoil #eattheseasons #seasonaleating #recipesforkids #familyfood #familyrecipes

  • Battenberg cake
