Cari lettori,
per chi visita Parigi non ci sono solo i musei famosi e più conosciuti come il Louvre o il d’Orsay. Anzi. Chi vuole visitare senza spendere ha a disposizione qua ben 11 musei completamente gratuiti, che fanno parte della rete dei musei municipali, gestiti direttamente dalla Mairie della capitale.
Nella bellissima place des Vosges si trova, per esempio, la casa natale dello scrittore Victor Hugo. I visitatori di questi musei sono in costante aumento e bisogna ammettere che alcuni di questi musei sono delle perle rare, come il musée Carnavalet, la cui collezione ripercorre tutta la storia di Parigi, o il Mam, il museo d’arte moderna. Va precisato però che l’accesso gratuito riguarda solo le collezioni permanenti dei musei e non le mostre temporanee.
Un piccolo museo estremamente romantico che vi consiglio di visitare se amate l’arte del XIX secolo è, appunto, il Musée de la Vie Romantique (rue Chaptal, 9° arrondissement). Antica casa del pittore Ary Sheffer, il museo ospita una collezione di oggetti appartenuti o legati alla scrittrice George Sand. La visita val la pena soprattutto se si è in cerca di calma: il giardino fiorito di rose è davvero romantico (vedi foto di questo post).
Tra gli altri musei gratuiti, vi segnalo la casa di Balzac, il museo Cernuschi dedicato all’arte asiatica e il Petit Palais, museo delle Belle Arti parigine.
